What makes me so compassionate about providing the highest level of care.
I stared out caring for my mum at thirteen years old when she was diagnosed with a terminal lung illness called Alpha-1. This lastest ten years while she was on a transplant list awaiting a lung transplant which she never recieved and sadly passed away. She was only 43 at the time and spent her end of life in a care home, where i see the level of care was not up to good standards at all and she was not given the respect she deserved.
Desperate to make a change to the care system
My dad lost his head after losing his childhood sweetheart and turned to drink, so i stepped up and took care of him and my younger brother. He was not the same person after that. I went on to have 6 beautiful children, five girls and a boy. My dad struggled continously with drink but was my rock until he sadly passed away on christmas day on a family holiday with me, my husband and the kids in 2024. since then i decided i wanted to keep on the family name and make him proud. With my extensive care experience and two older children i knew i had to change the way people are cared for, and decided home care was the way i could break the poor level of care i see my mum recieve.
